I have exciting news this week!! My students and I made a video highlighting happiness in Peru and submitted it to the Peace Corps Week video contest. Drumroll please… WE MADE THE FINALS!! We were selected as one of fourteen finalists worldwide and now there is a Facebook contest to see whose picture can get the most likes by Wednesday.

Pretty in Perú!

Peru has made me prettier. I’m not talking about my weight loss or my permanent sun-kissed skin, although those are both great perks of the job. I’m talking about the wake up every morning smiling kind of pretty. The inner beauty and light that comes from a happy heart.
